Evolution of Hypertherm Plasma Service in Industrial Cutting

The process of metal cutting is a method as old as more than 10 years. The technology has evolved widely through time. The outside edges of the cut are smoother and cleaner than ever before. Now, plasma cutter also allows you making precision holes for allowing fasteners to be attached.

Radial water injection came to use in 1968. In the technology that it used, pure water used to be injected around the plasma jet to constrict an arc created. Since the first plasma system was created, it had been gone through multiple processes of technological advancement for improved reliability of the device’s work process and better life of the consumables. The final product is technologically way advanced compared to the one that was initially used for industrial cutting in the 1970s.
